Here's what I got on Gabe Chiarot

He's a right wing; 5'11 2006 baby; from Hamilton, Ontario
He's played two years in the OHL for the Brampton Steelheads (23/24 and 24/25) where he tripled his points for his season going from 10 to 35. 21 of those 35 points in the 24/25 season were goals. He came out with a +/- of 21.
For his play, people have said that he is known for his physicality and generally playing in the dirtier areas on the ice. Seems there's more offense in his game but generally focuses more on keeping pressure against his opponents with big hits. Elite Prospects even named him "one of the OHL's most reliable checkers."
He himself describes his play as "gritty" in both the defensive and offensive zone while being able to put the puck in the net. Gabe also said Dustin Byfuglien was his favourite player growing up and compares his own playstyle to Brady Tkachuk. Generally someone who wants to be hard to play against and focus on his physicality and checking. This can be found in the fact while researching one thing that came up right away were his fights in the OHL.
As of right now, he'll be staying with the Steelheads for his third season. Looking to improve his play and hopefully push his 60 penalty minutes in the last season down.
As for some just small facts: if the name Chiarot is familiar, Gabe is the cousin to the alternate captain on the Detroit Red Wings Ben Chiarot. He also named the teddy bear toss and pink in the rink as some of his favourite games to play.
Excited to see how he continues to develop!
